A B C Water Supply has been running out of Basavanagudi South for a good number of years. Our main spot is at 312 A. If you live around here, you know how the water situation gets, especially when the summer heat starts hitting hard. We have a couple of tankers that we keep busy all through the day. It’s mostly about getting the timing right so people aren't waiting with empty tanks. I took over the daily operations because someone had to keep the logs straight. The drivers know the back streets of Basavanagudi really well by now. We don't do much fancy advertising or anything. Usually, someone just calls us because their neighbor told them we were reliable enough. The office at 312 A is just a small room with a desk and some old chairs. There is always a bit of mud around because of the hoses and the trucks coming in and out. Sometimes the pumps act up and we have to spend the morning fixing them instead of being on the road. It’s physical work and it gets tiring being out in the sun, but the work is steady. We just focus on getting the loads delivered to the houses and apartments that need it. It isn't a complicated business, just moving water from one place to another where it is actually needed.
