A J Interiors

A J Interiors is located at the Patel Complex, right on Banaswadi Main Road in Basavanagar Sector 36D. The number is 99 if you are looking for it. Being on the main road means we get a lot of dust and noise from the buses and cars passing by all day. Our shop is inside the complex, so it’s a bit more protected than the places right on the sidewalk. We have samples and bits of materials scattered all over the place. It’s a bit of a mess, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our days measuring things or looking at sketches. It is not a polished showroom like you might see in a mall. It’s more of a workshop where we actually get things done. The lights are a bit bright and the floor is usually covered in sawdust or scraps of fabric. We don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone and trying to schedule things. The landlord at Patel Complex is a nice guy and we get along with the other shop owners. We often grab lunch at the small canteen around the corner. It’s a busy life but it is good. We don't make big promises. We just show people what we have and tell them what it costs. It is as simple as that for us every single day.
