If you need someone to look at a piece of land in J P Nagar or over in Banashankari Third Stage, that’s what we do. We are at number 364, and you can usually find our gear sitting by the door. Surveying is a lot of being out in the sun and looking through lenses to make sure things are straight. It’s dusty work and can be pretty tiring, but someone’s got to do it. We’ve been walking these plots for years, so we know where the old markers are and how the land sits. We don't have a polished office with fancy furniture because we spend most of our time outside anyway. When we are in the office, we’re usually drawing up charts or checking numbers on a screen. It’s all about being accurate, even if the tools get a bit banged up from being in the field. People come to us when they are building a house or settling a boundary with a neighbor. We just give you the facts of what the land shows. We don't try to sell you anything extra. It’s just us, our tripods, and a lot of patience. Banashankari has grown so much lately, and it’s interesting to see how the maps change over time. If you see us out with our vests on, that’s just us doing our daily rounds.
