Our office is based in a house called Sri Mallikarjuna Nilaya, which is located in the Vijayanagar area of Bangalore. It’s at 240 on the 9th A Main Road. Working out of a place like this feels different than being in a big glass office building. It has more of a homey vibe, which we actually prefer. The neighborhood is full of trees and you can see people walking to the local shops throughout the day. Bangalore traffic is always a topic of conversation here, especially since 560040 can get quite jammed during peak hours. We have a small area where we keep our shoes before coming inside. The rooms are filled with desks and we try to keep things organized, though it doesn't always stay that way when things get busy. There is a small kitchen where we make coffee or tea, and the smell of someone’s lunch is usually wafting through the halls around noon. We’ve been at this Rekhabv address for a bit and we’ve gotten used to the sounds of the neighborhood. It’s a simple life here. We come in, do our tasks, chat a bit during the breaks, and head out. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything like that. It’s just a regular house where a bunch of us gather to get work done every day. It feels honest and comfortable for everyone who works here.
