Furni-Tech (P) Ltd.

Furni-Tech (P) Ltd. is located right on 21/11B, Ist Main Road. It is in the Byatarayanapura area, just off the Mysore Road. If you know that part of town, you know it gets incredibly crowded with traffic. Our building is nothing special to look at, just a place where we get our work done every day. We have been here quite a while. Inside, it is mostly wood shavings, heavy tools, and some half-finished pieces waiting for assembly. We do not have a showroom with fancy lights or glass displays. It is more of a workshop feel. Some of us have been working together for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things that might look a bit disorganized to an outsider. However, we know exactly where everything is. We spend most of our time dealing with the actual production. My hands are usually dirty by noon. We get orders, we figure out the measurements, and we start cutting. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend an hour fixing them ourselves. That is just part of the daily routine. We do not have a big office staff. If you call, you will probably talk to one of the guys who was just out on the floor. We try to be fair and do a decent day's work. It is a noisy, dusty life, but it is what we know and what we do.
