Woodways-India

Woodways-India is located right on Bridge Road. It is one of those streets where you always know where you are because of the landmarks nearby. The shop isn't tucked away or hard to find. We deal with wood all day, so there is usually a thin layer of sawdust on the floor and that specific smell of cut timber in the air. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don’t spend much time on decorations or making things look like a showroom. It is more of a workspace where things actually get done. Some mornings start early when the wood arrives, and we have to move everything around to make space. Bridge Road can get a bit loud with the cars passing by, but once you are inside and working, you don't notice it as much. We have a few benches set up and the tools are always within reach. It’s not a huge operation, just a handful of us making sure things are built the way they should be. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but Woodways-India stays pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and focus on the wood. Sometimes a neighbor stops by to chat, or a truck struggles to turn on the narrow part of the road, but otherwise, it is just a normal day of work for us. We like the honesty of the materials we use every day.
