Essons Chemicals is located at No. 67 on Meenakshi Koil Street Cross. We are in Shivaji Nagar, which is a pretty crowded area with a lot of narrow lanes. Our building is on Lane No. 3. We deal with various chemical products and supplies for different industries. It’s a lot of inventory management and moving drums around. The air in the warehouse usually has that distinct chemical smell, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We spend our days checking orders and making sure the labels are correct. It’s a serious job because you have to be careful with what you’re handling. We aren’t a giant corporation; we’re just a small outfit that’s been part of the neighborhood for a long time. Some days the deliveries are late because the streets are so tight, but we manage to get things out. We don’t have a fancy office. Most of the work happens on the floor or at a small desk piled with papers. We know our customers well and they usually just call us up when they need something. It’s not the kind of business that gets a lot of attention, but it’s steady work. We just focus on getting the supplies to the right place without any fuss. It’s a no-nonsense environment where the main goal is just getting the orders loaded and sent off on the trucks.
