Chemicon Pvt. Ltd. has its office at 239, Mahalakshmipuram Layout P.O. It’s a decent area, a bit more relaxed than the city center, which we appreciate. We deal with chemical engineering equipment and related stuff. It’s the kind of work that involves a lot of looking at blueprints and talking to suppliers about specialized parts. The office isn't anything spectacular to look at, just some old wooden desks and filing cabinets that have been here for years. We don't have a marketing team or a bunch of slogans. We just get the jobs done as they come in. Sometimes the phone rings all day and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside in the layout. We like the balance. Most of us have been working here for quite a while, so we have a routine that works. We might miss a call if we’re all out back checking on a shipment, but we eventually get back to everyone. It’s a very practical environment. We don't wear suits or anything like that unless there’s a really big meeting, which doesn't happen too often. Mostly it’s just us in our regular shirts, drinking coffee and making sure the technical specifications are right.
