Our group runs Puresap Food And Agro Private Limited from a spot in Palanpur. Specifically, we are set up at C/O Gadhavi Ghanshyamdan in Moteta, near the Vansol post office. Banaskantha is a big place for farming, so it made sense for us to be here instead of some big city like Ahmedabad or Surat. The village life is slow but we keep busy with all the agro and food work that comes our way. We have a small office where we keep our papers and talk to the local farmers who bring in their produce. It gets dusty during the dry season, but that is just how it is in this part of Gujarat. We spend our mornings checking on the food stocks and making sure everything is moving like it should. Gadhavi Ghanshyamdan’s place is easy to find if you are local to Moteta. We don’t have a website that looks like a million bucks because we’d rather spend that time working on the grain and seeds. Most of us grew up around here, so we know the soil and the weather patterns pretty well. It is practical work, nothing too flashy or fancy. We drink a lot of masala chai while we discuss the prices and the rain. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and that is all we talk about for weeks. That is just life here in the 385001 area.
