Nadesvary Agro Producer Company Limited

The M G Patel Sarvodaya Kendra in Vav is where you will find us. We are deep in the Banaskantha district, which is a bit of a trek if you are coming from the bigger cities. Being a producer company means we are mostly a group of local folks working together on agro projects. The building we use is part of the Kendra, and it is a very basic, functional space. We don't have air conditioning or fancy chairs, just some wooden benches and a big table where we all sit and talk. Vav is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so we don't need much in the way of signs or marketing. People just know where the Sarvodaya Kendra is. The work can be tough, especially when the weather in Banaskantha gets really dry and dusty. We spend a lot of time discussing crop cycles and how to get better yields for the group. It’s a very community-focused way of doing things, which is common in this part of Gujarat. We don't have a big budget for fancy things, so we make do with what we have. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours, and we just sit outside in the shade of the trees to finish our meetings. It is a very traditional way of working, but it has served us well so far. We are just a group of people trying to make things work for our families.
