Bhareshwar Agro Producer Company is based in the village of Golap, in the Wav taluka of Banaskantha. We use Nagjibhai Rataji Rajput’s place as our home base. This is real rural Gujarat, and life here revolves around the seasons. We are a group of farmers who decided it was better to work as a collective. In a place like Banas Kantha, you have to be tough because the environment isn't always kind to crops. We spend our time figuring out how to get the most out of our land and how to sell our produce without getting a bad deal from middle men. There’s no corporate ladder here. We are all on the same level, just trying to help each other out. Our office is just a simple room with some chairs and a table where we keep our records. We don't have any fancy signs or advertisements. People know where we are because we’ve lived here all our lives and they know Nagjibhai too. Sometimes the work is exhausting, and there are days when it feels like we aren't making much progress, but we keep going. It’s about the community and making sure the local agriculture stays strong for the next generation. We talk about real things like the cost of fertilizer or the lack of rain. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way of living. We just do the work that needs to be done every single day.
