Janhad Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of Village Abasana, which is in the Bhabhar Taluka of Banaskantha. We don't have a big glass office or anything like that. We actually work out of Maheshbhai Gemarbhai Parmar’s place. It is a very local operation, right in the heart of the farming community. Being in Banaskantha means we are surrounded by the very people we are working with every day. The office is basically a room with a few chairs and a table where we discuss what needs to be done for the season. It gets quite hot out here, and the dusty roads are just part of the landscape. We started this because we wanted a way for the producers in Abasana to work together more easily. There are no fancy signs or receptionists. Usually, someone just walks in to talk about their crops or to see how the producer company is doing. It is a slow pace of life compared to the cities, but the work is important to us. We handle the paperwork for the group and try to make sure everything is in order with the government rules. It’s a community effort more than a corporate business. Everyone knows Maheshbhai, so finding us isn't hard if you are from around here. We just take things one day at a time.
