Deesa is a busy spot. We are at the Mile Stone Shopping Center, right on the 4th floor. Sometimes the stairs are a lot, but we manage. Being near the highway means there is always noise from the trucks and buses going by. People from around the taluka come by all the time. We spend a lot of time talking about seeds and if it's going to rain next week. It isn't a fancy office with big glass walls or anything. Just some old desks and chairs where we sit and figure out how to help the local growers. Most days we are just drinking tea and looking at records in our ledgers. The sun gets really bright through the windows in the afternoon and it can get a bit warm in here. We've been at this address for a bit now. Everyone in the village knows where the shopping center is, so it's easy for them to find us. We don't have a big flashing sign out front, just the name on the door. It feels like a regular day most of the time. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just have to wait for it to come back. That's just how it is here in Deesa. We deal with whatever comes up with the crops and the guys out in the fields. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls to be honest. Usually, someone is coming in with a question about their harvest. We don’t really do fancy meetings. It's just us and the farmers sitting around.
