Vjv College Of Technology

This college is located out on Baskhan Road, right near the Kisan Nursery. If you are walking from the main part of Akbarpur, it takes a little while, but it is a familiar route for everyone around here. We have a decent-sized building, though it definitely looks like it has seen some years. The paint is peeling a bit near the entrance because of the rain last season, but the inside is kept as tidy as we can manage. Most mornings start with the sound of the gates opening and students trickling in from the nearby villages and town areas. We have various rooms for the different tech subjects, and the labs are filled with older computers that we try our best to keep running smoothly. It is not a shiny, new campus like the ones you see in the big cities, but it serves its purpose for our community. The nursery nearby gives us a bit of greenery to look at, which is nice when the sun is beating down on the road. We handle all the paperwork and the teaching ourselves, so things can get a bit hectic around exam time. You might find some old files stacked up in the corners of the office because we haven't gotten around to filing them properly yet. It is just a regular place where local people come to learn something useful. We don't put on any acts; we just show up and do the job.
