Nand Kishore Higher Secondary

Our school is located in Rudauli, which is in the Faizabad area. We’ve been serving the local community here for quite a while. It’s a higher secondary school, so we have the older kids who are getting ready for their final years of study. The building is a bit old, but it stays sturdy. We have a playground out back where the students spend their breaks. It isn't always perfectly manicured, but it serves its purpose. Most of the teachers here grew up in this region, so they understand the families and the way things work in Rudauli. We don't have a lot of high-tech gadgets or anything like that. We mostly use chalkboards and textbooks. It’s how we’ve always done it. The morning assembly is usually the loudest part of the day. After that, things settle down into the usual routine of lectures and writing. Parents often drop by to check on progress or pay fees at the small window in the front. We try to be helpful when people have questions. It’s a modest place. We don't make big claims about being the most modern school. We just provide a place for students to come and learn what they need to know. Life in Faizabad moves at its own pace, and we just move along with it, keeping the doors open every day. There is always a lot of cleaning to do after the students leave.
