Darsgah-E-Islami Inter College

We are located right here on Haider Gunj Street in the Mughalpura area of Faizabad. It's been many years since we started Darsgah-E-Islami Inter College in this neighborhood. Most of the people around here know us because their kids or even they themselves studied in these classrooms. The morning starts early with the sound of cycles and parents dropping off their children. It gets a bit noisy sometimes, especially when the shops nearby open up, but we are used to it by now. The building is old and has a lot of character, with thick walls and high ceilings that help keep things cool during the hot Uttar Pradesh summers. Our teachers mostly live nearby, so they just walk or take a rickshaw to get here. We spend our days mostly handling paperwork, checking on the classes, and making sure the students have what they need for their lessons. It’s a busy place, but it feels like home to most of us. You’ll see us out front in the afternoons when the final bell rings and everyone rushes out to head back to their houses. We don't have a big fancy office, just a small space where we keep the registers and the old wooden desks. It’s just a regular school doing its thing every day in this part of town. We try to keep the place clean, though the dust from the street always finds its way in somehow. That’s just how it is in this part of Faizabad.
