Uma Rishikul Inter College

Uma Rishikul Inter College is located over in Mainuddeen Pur, which is part of the Moti Nagar area in Faizabad. The pin code here is 224201 if anyone is sending letters. It’s a pretty standard neighborhood, with narrow streets and lots of houses nearby. The college itself has been around for some time and most of the locals know where it is without needing a map. We have students coming in from all around the Moti Nagar side of town. Mornings are usually the busiest time when the gates open and everyone is trying to get in before the bell rings. It can get a bit dusty on the roads around here when the weather is dry. Faizabad has its own pace, and Mainuddeen Pur is no different. We spend our days dealing with the usual school stuff, like keeping the classrooms tidy and making sure the registers are updated. It’s a lot of manual work and staying on top of the kids. There isn't much flashiness to the place, it’s just a solid brick building where learning happens. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to make do with the windows open for some air. Life at the inter college is pretty much the same day in and day out. We see the same faces at the local tea stalls nearby. It's a community feeling, I suppose, just being part of the local scenery in Faizabad.
