Vrindavan Delightful Veg Thali

Our restaurant, Vrindavan Delightful Veg Thali, is on the first floor of the Disha Sagar Complex. We are located right on the Aurangabad Railway Station Road, which is why we get so many travelers coming in. Since we are directly opposite the railway station, people are often coming in with their luggage, looking for a heavy meal before or after their journey. Serving thalis means we have to be very organized. We have all these small bowls that need to be filled with different dals, vegetables, and curries. The kitchen is a very busy place from early morning. We have to make a lot of rotis and keep the rice warm. Being on the first floor gives a bit of a view of the street, but mostly it just means we have to carry all our supplies up the stairs. The Disha Sagar Complex has other shops too, so the hallways can get quite crowded. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. We just have sturdy tables and chairs that can handle a lot of use. The noise from the trains and the station announcements is something we have just gotten used to over time. It is a fast-paced environment and we just try to keep up with the crowd of hungry people coming from the station. We spend a lot of time washing the small stainless steel bowls because we go through many.
