Varad Restaurant

Varad Restaurant is right here on the Nasik Mumbai Road in Padegaon. We are situated in the Ex Servicemen Colony area, which has its own rhythm. Being near Chinar Garden means we see a lot of people passing through this part of Aurangabad. The shop is at number one, so it’s easy to spot when you are coming down the main road. Most days, it is just us managing things, keeping the tables ready and making sure the kitchen is running. The traffic outside is constant, especially with the highway connection. We have been in this spot for a while now. Some folks from the colony come in regularly, and others are just driving through to Mumbai or Nasik and need a place to sit for a bit. It’s not a very fancy setup, just a regular place where you can get something to eat. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the lunch rush and getting things ready for the evening. The weather in Aurangabad gets quite hot, so the shade inside the restaurant is always a relief for people. We don't do anything too complicated here. It’s just about serving the food we have and making sure the stove is hot. Life on this road is busy, and we are just a small part of that daily grind. Sometimes the power goes out or the water delivery is late, but we manage to keep going. That’s just how it is running a place like this in Padegaon.
