Tuljai Poli Bhaji Kendra

We started Tuljai Poli Bhaji Kendra at the Udyogravi Apartment on Ulkanagri Road. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the Ulkanagari area of Aurangabad, near the August Home spot. It’s a small operation we have here. We spend most of our mornings rolling out polis and getting the bhaji ready for the lunch crowd. It’s the kind of work that starts early and doesn't really stop until we close up for the night. We aren't a big restaurant with waiters and a huge menu. It’s more of a place where people come to get a simple, home-style meal because they don't have time to cook for themselves. We have a lot of regulars who come by every single day, so we’ve gotten to know them pretty well. The kitchen is small but we keep it clean and keep the stoves going. Sometimes we run out of things if it's a busy day, but that’s just how it goes with a small shop like ours. We don't use any fancy equipment, just the basic stuff you’d find in any home kitchen. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we like being part of the neighborhood here. People seem to appreciate having a place like this nearby. We just keep making the food and serving whoever walks through the door. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, which is making sure people have something decent to eat for lunch.
