Mustafas Dum Biryani

We are situated at 2 Disha Alankar on Cannought Garden Road. It is in the CIDCO Colony part of Aurangabad. A good way to find us is to look for Naik College or the Johnson and Johnson Tiles shop, we are right across from there. This area is pretty developed now compared to how it used to be. We focus on dum biryani, which takes a lot of time to get right. We start the cooking process early so everything is ready for the lunch crowd. The shop is in a good spot because of the college and the offices nearby. Students come in a lot because they are always hungry. It’s not a very quiet place, especially when the college lets out. We have a few tables where people can sit and eat. It’s mostly about the food, not the decorations. We try to make sure the spices are just right every day. Sometimes the rice is a bit different, but that’s natural cooking for you. We don’t use any of those big machines, just the old way of doing things. The road outside can get a bit packed with cars. We have been here for some time and the neighbors know us well. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We just want to serve a good meal to whoever walks in. It’s a decent place to grab a bite. We keep things simple and hope people are satisfied with what we make.
