Sakhi Poli Bhaji Kendra

Sakhi Poli Bhaji Kendra is located at Wadhwa Villa N3 in Aurangabad. We are in the Cidco area, which is near the busy Kamgar Chowk. This is a place where we make simple, home-style food. The main things we do are poli and bhaji, the kind of stuff you eat every day. The kitchen is always moving with the sound of rolling pins and the smell of tempering spices. We start very early because people want fresh food for their lunch boxes before they head to work. It’s a small place and it gets quite hot near the stoves, but we are used to that. We don't use fancy machines; it's mostly done by hand. The counters are usually covered in a bit of flour by the end of the morning rush. We serve the people around Aurangabad HO and the 431001 area. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby or work in the shops around Kamgar Chowk. They come in for a quick packet of food and a bit of a chat. We don't have much in the way of seating, it's more of a place where you pick up what you need and go. The menu doesn't change much because people like the taste of what they already know. It’s just honest, local cooking done by people who have been doing it for years.
