Sai bhojnalay is on Osmanpura road, near faraz villa here in Aurangabad. It’s a pretty standard spot for anyone looking for a meal that doesn’t cost a fortune. We focus on home-style cooking because that’s what we know. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or work in the local shops. We have a few students too who are staying in hostels and miss their mothers' cooking. The place isn't very big, so it fills up quickly during the lunch hour. We have a routine. We go to the market early to get the vegetables, and then the prep work starts. My hands are usually busy with something all day. We don't have a fancy menu card, just a board with what we’ve made for the day. Aurangabad can get very hot, so the fans are always going. We don’t have air conditioning or anything like that. It’s just a simple room with some tables. We try to keep things honest. If a dish isn't available, we just tell you. People seem to like that we don't put on an act. We’ve been here for a while and the neighborhood knows us well. It’s hard work, and by the evening, we are all quite tired. But we show up again the next morning to do it all over.
