S & S Food Manufacturer

Our place is out on the Ajanta Highway at Plot No-23. If you pass the Nilambari Hotel in Kusumba, you have basically found us since we are right behind it. Being S & S Food Manufacturer means we deal with a lot of heat and noise. The highway is always humming with trucks going toward the city. It gets very dusty in Kusumba, especially during the dry months. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floors at the plant. It is a simple setup with some old machinery and a few sturdy tables. We aren't a huge corporation with thousands of employees. It is just a handful of us who have lived in this district our whole lives. We know the hotel staff next door quite well since we go there for coffee sometimes. The building is a bit old and the paint is peeling in some corners, but it stays cool inside because of the thick walls. We focus on getting the food items ready for the crates. There is no magic to it. We just follow the steps we’ve always followed. Some days are long and the trucks are late, and we just sit on the back porch watching the traffic go by. It is a steady life and it pays the bills for our families. We like it that way.
