New K P Park Restaurant

We are located in Phardapur, which is the village right near the Ajanta Caves in Maharashtra. Most of the people who come to see us are tourists who are visiting the caves for the day. It’s a long drive from Aurangabad, so people are usually quite tired and hungry when they finally arrive here. We have a simple restaurant setup with tables both inside and sometimes a few spots outside if it's not too hot. The area is quite dusty because of all the tour buses and cars coming through the village. We spend a lot of time just wiping down the tables to keep the dust off. It’s a family-run kind of thing. We live nearby and spend most of our days here at the restaurant working. It’s not a fancy place for a formal dinner or anything like that. It’s more of a stop for travelers to rest their legs and have a meal before heading back out on the road. During the monsoon season, the whole area gets very green and beautiful, but in the summer it’s incredibly hot and dry. We keep the cold drinks stocked up for the thirsty visitors. We’ve seen people from all over the world pass through our doors to see the caves. We don’t speak every language, but we manage to get the orders right most of the time by pointing and nodding. It’s a quiet life here in Phardapur except for the busy tourist season.
