Matoshri Bar & Restaurant

You’ll find us on Station Road in Vaijapur, which is in the Aurangabad area of Maharashtra. Being near the station means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just getting off a train and need a drink, while others are locals who come in every evening after they finish work. The bar is a basic setup. We have a few tables and a counter where we serve. It’s not the kind of place with bright neon signs or loud music playing all night. It’s a bit more relaxed than that. I’ve been running this for a while now, and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We open up, get the bottles ready, and start the kitchen for the snacks. The road outside can be quite dusty with all the buses and rickshaws going to the station. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy, but that’s just part of being in this location. We don’t have a massive menu with foreign dishes. It’s mostly just local stuff that people like to eat when they’re having a beer or some spirits. I’m usually behind the bar or talking to some of the regulars about the weather or the local news. It’s just a plain, honest business. We aren't trying to impress anyone, we just want to provide a place to sit for a while.
