Good Food

If you walk down from the Aurangabad railway station towards Silk Mill Colony, you’ll find us. We’ve been operating here for a bit, mostly because it’s so close to where all the travelers are coming and going. The smell of cooking starts pretty early in the morning, around the time the first trains pull in. It’s a busy little spot, and things can get a bit chaotic when the station traffic picks up. We don't have a big menu with fancy names; it’s just the stuff we know how to make well. The kitchen is small and gets really hot, especially in the summer months. We spend a lot of our time peeling vegetables and making sure the pots are clean. There’s always someone coming in asking for directions or a quick bite before their train leaves. We just do our best to keep up with the rush. The building itself is older, and the walls have that lived-in look that you only get from years of steam and cooking. Sometimes we run out of something before the day is over, and we just have to tell people to try again tomorrow. It’s not a polished operation, but it’s real. We live and work right here, and the sound of the train whistles is basically our alarm clock. It’s just a regular local kitchen doing its thing every day. We try to keep the benches clean for the next person.
