Ghanshyam'S 49 N 99 is located inside Kailash Arcade. The address is a bit funny because we are on 49N99 Street itself. It’s right in the middle of Cidco Colony, which is a fairly big residential and commercial area. We are also near Cannought Garden, so there is a bit of green nearby if you need a break from the buildings. Kailash Arcade is a decent building with a few different businesses inside. We have been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed a bit over time. Cidco Colony is always expanding, it seems. Our street is usually busy during the day but gets quiet once the sun goes down. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. It’s just a shop where you find things for forty-nine or ninety-nine. It’s a straightforward concept, and the locals seem to appreciate that. The garden nearby is a nice touch for the area. Sometimes we walk over there during lunch just to get some fresh air. The arcade stays relatively cool even when it’s boiling outside. We have a small sign, nothing too bright. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they live nearby in the colony. It’s a nice, steady place to work every day. We know the other shop owners in the arcade, and we all look out for each other when the weather gets bad or the power goes out.
