You can find the Chamber Of Marathwada Industries & Agriculture over at P-2, Bajaj Bhawan. We are located right by the MIDC Railway Station. It’s a very industrial part of town, which makes sense for what we do. The building, Bajaj Bhawan, is a well-known landmark around here. Our office is where a lot of local business owners and farmers come to talk. It’s not a quiet place. There are always meetings going on or people dropping in to ask for advice on some regulation or another. We have stacks of reports and industrial maps on the tables. The hum of the nearby trains is something we hear all day long. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations. The furniture is functional and has been here for years. Our staff is mostly busy keeping records of the local industries and helping out with agricultural questions. It’s more of a community hub than a corporate office. We drink a lot of tea while discussing the local economy. It’s a lot of paperwork and organizing events for the members. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just wait for the generator to kick in. We’re just here to support the folks working in the Marathwada region. It’s a straightforward job and we like the people we work with every day. It's an interesting place to be for anyone who works in this part of town.
