Our office is located in J.K. Towers, right on Adalat Road. We’re in suite 2-A. It’s a busy part of the city with the court nearby, so there’s always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside. We deal with gardens and land-related matters. Even though we’re in a big building, we spend a lot of our time thinking about green spaces. The office itself is pretty simple. We’ve got some maps on the walls and a few plants in the corners, though they don't always get enough light. We spend our days talking to people about their plots and making sure the maintenance schedules are kept. It’s not a fancy job. We have a lot of folders and site plans that we have to go through every morning. Sometimes we’re out on the road visiting different sites, and other times we’re just stuck behind the desk. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. We just help people look after their land and keep things growing. The staff here is small, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. We keep the kettle on and try to get through the paperwork before the sun goes down. It’s a steady pace, and we like it that way. We just keep working through the list of tasks.
