Our office is located on Eshagarh Road in Ashoknagar, right near the jail. It’s at Smt Usha’s house, which serves as our base. We are a bunch of farmers from around here who came together to start this company. Ashoknagar is a place where most of us have lived our whole lives. We know the soil and we know the crops that grow best in this specific climate. Farming isn't an easy life at all, so we figured working together as a group would make things a little bit easier for everyone involved. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just want to make sure we can sell what we grow for a fair price at the end of the day. We spend a lot of time talking and planning our next steps together. It’s a very local thing, very grassroots. When you walk into our office, you won't see anything corporate or shiny. It’s just us with our registers and our phones, trying to coordinate things between the members. We help each other out with inputs and share what we know about the markets. It’s practical, everyday work. We are just regular people who believe in hard work and looking after each other in the community. It’s a bit of a struggle sometimes, but we keep going because this is our livelihood and our home. We take it as it comes.
