S. L. Entertainment

We’ve been based out here in the Kuardi Colliery area for quite some time now. Being in Kalipahari, we are right in the middle of the West Burdwan district, which keeps us busy with all the local events. S. L. Entertainment is just a small group of us who handle sound systems and lighting for whatever is happening nearby. It might be a small wedding in the village or a larger festival that needs loud music and bright lights. We don't have one of those fancy air-conditioned offices you see in the city. Our place is more of a storage spot for all the speakers, amplifiers, and cables we carry around. The roads around the colliery can be pretty rough and dusty, especially when the coal trucks are moving, but we manage to get our gear where it needs to go. We usually start our days early, loading up the tempo and making sure all the wires are in good shape. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting heavy boxes and climbing up to set up the lights, but it’s what we do. People around here usually just come by the house or call us on the phone when they have a function coming up. We don't do any big advertising because most folks already know who we are. It’s a simple way of making a living, and we like being part of the noise and the celebrations in our town.
