G. S. Enterprise

We’ve been here at 422, Burnpur Road for quite a while now. It’s a busy part of Burdwan, and honestly, the noise from the street never really stops. My father started things out, and I just sort of took over when the time felt right. Most days, it’s just us handling orders and making sure everything gets where it needs to go. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning in every room, but the fans keep us cool enough while we work. People stop by looking for different things, and we try to help them out if we have what they need in the back. The building itself is older, and sometimes the roof leaks a bit when the monsoon hits hard, but we manage. It’s a practical way to earn a living. We know the neighbors, the tea stall guy down the road, and the delivery drivers who’ve been coming here for years. It isn’t always easy, and some days are slower than others, but we keep the doors open. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in West Bengal, just a reliable one on this stretch of road. You get used to the rhythm of the traffic and the specific smell of the dust outside. It’s just how things are at G. S. Enterprise. We stay busy with the paperwork and the inventory, making sure the ledger stays balanced at the end of the month.
