Rekha Fly Ash Bricks

We are located over in Begunia Ghoshpara, which is in the Barakar area. This is part of the Kulti police station jurisdiction in the Burdwan district. Rekha Fly Ash Bricks is a small, local setup that we have been running for quite some time now. We mostly make bricks for the people living nearby who want to fix up their houses or add a new room. It is a pretty lively neighborhood to be in. You can always hear the local gossip and the sound of the town around us. Most of our work happens right out in the open air. The fly ash gets delivered by the truckload, and we spend the majority of our day operating the press and stacking the finished products. It is a physically demanding job, especially when the West Bengal humidity gets really high in the middle of the summer. We just take it one day at a time and try not to let the heat get to us. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend the afternoon covered in grease trying to get it started again. We aren't a big industrial factory. It is just a few of us. We know almost everyone who comes to buy from us because they are our neighbors. We don't bother with any fancy marketing tactics. If the bricks are solid, people will come back. That is all we really care about. We just keep the press going every day and hope for good weather.
