About Maa Fly Ash Bricks – Building & Construction Material in Asansol
We run Maa Fly Ash Bricks over at Chanda More, near Ratibati in the Jamuria area. West Burdwan is a busy place for construction, so we stay pretty active. I chose to work with fly ash because it’s a bit cleaner than the old-fashioned red brick way. Our yard isn't huge, but we make it work with the space we have. I’m usually there every day, making sure the mix is being handled right. It’s a lot of repetitive work, day in and day out. We get quite a bit of dust, so it's not the cleanest job in the world. People from the nearby villages know us and usually stop by when they’re planning to build something. We don't have a marketing guy or a big office. I mostly handle everything myself, from talking to the truck drivers to keeping track of the orders. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing them instead of making bricks. That’s just how it is. We try to be helpful to anyone who comes by asking for advice on how many bricks they might need for a project. It’s a honest way to earn a living in Jamuria. If you’re looking for us, we’re just at the Chanda More crossing. We don't have much time for breaks, but we get the job done.
