Krishna Traders

You can find us near the Town Hall on the road between Anand and Vidhya Nagar. It’s a pretty good location because everyone passes by here at some point during the week. We’ve been operating Krishna Traders for a few years now. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a sturdy building with our stock inside. We spend a lot of time checking the ledgers and making sure we have what people need. Sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the truck from the city to get here. That can be frustrating for us and the customers but that's just how business is sometimes. We don't use any fancy software, just a lot of notebooks and an old calculator. It’s worked for us so far and we aren't in a hurry to change it. The traffic on the Anand-Vidhya Nagar Road can get really heavy in the evenings, so we usually try to get our big chores done early. My brother helps me out most days, and we have a local kid who runs errands for us when we are too busy to leave the desk. We aren't some big chain, just a local family operation. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to sell our goods and go home.
