Xpert Hair Saloon

Our shop is located right at Chownk Islamabad in Amritsar, which is a very busy intersection. We are right near the Punjab and Sind Bank, so we get a lot of bank employees coming in during their lunch breaks or after they close up for the day. Being at the crossroads means there is never a dull moment. We can see all the rickshaws and cars buzzing around from our front door. Inside, we have kept things pretty basic. There are four chairs lined up against the wall and a big mirror for each one. The tiles on the floor are a bit chipped in places, but we keep them swept clean. We don't use any fancy products, just the standard soaps and creams that everyone knows. There is a small television in the corner, but we usually keep the sound off unless there is a cricket match on. The air usually smells like shaving cream and maybe a bit of exhaust from the street. We’ve got a small cupboard where we keep the clean towels and the extra capes. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just know we are here at the Chownk. We do our best to give a decent cut and keep the line moving. It’s just a regular local shop where we work hard and go home when the sun sets.
