A P Beauty Parlour & Boutique is located down the Sukhmani Electronics Wali Gali here at Mehta Chowk. It's a bit of a tight turn off Ghuman Road, but we've been in this spot in Amritsar for a while. We do two things here: beauty work and some tailoring. It started because local ladies wanted a place where they could get their suits stitched and also get their eyebrows done at the same time. The shop is divided into two sections. One side has the sewing machines and fabrics piled up, and the other side has the mirrors and chairs for parlor work. It gets quite loud with the machines running, but it’s a friendly kind of noise. We handle simple things like threading, waxing, and stitching regular suits. Nothing too over the top. My cousin helps me with the cutting and stitching while I look after the customers coming in for facial work. We usually have tea ready for anyone waiting. The street outside is always busy, so we keep the door mostly shut to keep the dust out. People from the nearby houses are our main regulars. We don't have a big staff, just us working through the day. Sometimes we stay late if there’s a wedding in the neighborhood and someone needs a dress finished or their hair tied up. It’s just a local business trying to get the work done right for the people who live nearby. We hope to see you.
