Vijay Shri Travels

We are located at 20, Krishna Market, right in the heart of the action near the Golden Temple. In Amritsar 143006, things are always crowded and busy, especially around Chowk Fawara where we are. Vijay Shri Travels is tucked away in the market, surrounded by all the other shops and the smell of food from the stalls. Being this close to the temple means there’s never a quiet moment, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. You can see the fountain at the chowk from just a little way down the street. Our shop isn't very large, just enough room for a few people to sit and talk. We spend a lot of our time looking out at the crowds of pilgrims and locals walking by. The market gets quite loud in the evenings, but inside it’s a bit calmer. We have our name on the front so you can find us easily enough among all the signs in Krishna Market. It’s a bit of an old building, but it holds up well. We’ve seen many seasons pass from this spot. Most people know the area well, so finding us isn’t too much of a chore if you’re already visiting the temple. We just keep the lights on and wait for whoever needs a bit of help with their plans. It is a plain place, honest and local, just like the rest of the neighborhood. We don't have fancy stuff inside, just what we need to get the job done. Sometimes we share a tea with the neighbors while we wait for the next traveler to come by.
