Our shop is tucked away on Mahna Singh Road, which is very close to the Golden Temple. If you know the area near Nagpal Nursing Home, you can find us easily enough. We are right opposite the Brahm Butta Market and just a short walk from Jallianwala Bagh. Being in this part of Amritsar means there is always a crowd outside. The streets are narrow and sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to get the bigger cars through the lanes, but we manage it every day. We’ve been operating from this spot for a long time now. The office gets a bit dusty because of all the construction and people walking by, so we are always wiping down the chairs. We keep some cold water for anyone who drops in, especially during the summer months when it gets really hot. My brother and I handle most of the work ourselves, from answering the landline to checking the oil in the cars. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just about being here when someone needs a taxi or help with a bus ticket. Most of our day is spent watching the pilgrims go towards the temple. It’s a lively place to work, even if it gets a bit loud with the market noise. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can without making things complicated for anyone.
