Unique Punjab Travels

Unique Punjab Travels is based at Shop No. 125 in Gumtala Colony on Loharka Road. Our shop is a busy little place where the phone is always ringing with people asking about bus timings or car rentals. The walls are covered with old calendars and maps of the roads around Punjab. We have a couple of wooden chairs for customers to sit on while they wait for their tickets to be printed. Loharka Road is always noisy with trucks and tractors passing by, so we have to shout a bit to be heard. We handle taxi bookings, airport drops, and long-distance trips for families. Most of our drivers have been with us for years and they know every shortcut between here and Delhi. The shop front gets quite dusty from the traffic, so we end up sweeping it out three or four times a day. We aren't a big travel agency with a website and apps. We mostly just talk to people face to face or over the phone. Sometimes a driver gets a flat tire or a bus is delayed by the fog, and we have to spend the morning rearranging everyone's plans. It is a lot of juggling schedules and making sure the fuel tanks are full. We stay open late because people often need last-minute rides. It is a simple, honest business that keeps the local community moving from one place to another.
