We are located over on Taylor Road at 19 A. It’s right near the Gandhi Ground in Aga Market, which is usually a pretty busy area with people coming and going. We handle travel stuff and forex services, and that keeps us occupied most of the day. Dealing with currency rates can be a bit of a chore because the numbers jump around all the time, but it’s the job we’ve got. The office itself is not very big, but it serves its purpose for us and the people who stop by. We have been in this part of Amritsar for a long time now. Most people find us just because they are heading into the market or going to see something at the ground. We try to be very honest about how long things will take, especially when it comes to the paperwork for travel or foreign exchange. Sometimes the bank systems are slow, and we just have to sit and wait it out like everyone else does. It is just a regular local business. We don’t have any fancy waiting rooms with leather sofas, just a few simple chairs if you need to sit while we count out your cash or check on your booking details. Taylor Road is always moving, so there is usually something to see out the window while we work. We usually open up early enough to catch the morning crowd. It’s practical work and we just take it one day at a time.
