U Like Cutting Saloon

I have my shop, U Like Cutting Saloon, in Friends Colony Gali No-5 in Majitha. It is a small town near Amritsar and things move a bit slower here than they do in the big city. I have been running this place on my own for a long time. The shop is just a single room with a high ceiling. I have two chairs but I usually only use one since I work by myself. Gali No-5 is a quiet street and most of my customers are my neighbors. We know everything about each other’s families. When someone comes in, we usually spend more time talking than actually cutting hair. I use a manual clipper sometimes because the electricity in Majitha can be a bit unreliable. It takes a bit more effort but it gets the job done. I don't have any fancy signs or lights outside. Just a small board with the name of the shop. I think people like coming here because it is quiet and they know me. I keep my tools in a wooden box that my grandfather made. It is old but it works perfectly. Amritsar is famous for many things, but here in Majitha, we just care about our daily work. I open the shop early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. It is a peaceful way to make a living and I wouldn't change it for anything.
