Travel Singh

We are located in the Nehru Shopping Complex on Lawrence Road. Our office is Sco 28, up on the second floor. It’s a pretty central spot in Amritsar, so we see a lot of people coming and going from the shops downstairs. We handle travel stuff, mostly for families and local business people who don’t want to mess around with websites themselves. We’ve got a couple of computers and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. Dealing with travel can be a headache with all the changes and cancellations, so we just try to keep it simple for everyone. We aren't part of some huge chain; it’s just us here. Lawrence Road is always buzzing, especially in the evenings, so it's a nice place to work. Sometimes we just stand by the window and watch the crowd while we wait for a booking to confirm. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People just know us by name and come up the stairs when they need a flight or a hotel. We try to be honest about what’s available and what’s not. It’s a steady job and we like being part of the community here. If you need a hand with travel, we’re usually around during normal hours. It's just a basic office where we spend our days making phone calls and checking prices on the screen for anyone who drops by.
