Tania General Store

We are located on Douburji Road in the Sultanwind area of Amritsar. This is a local general store where we sell a variety of small items for the home. It is a busy part of the city and we have been part of this neighborhood for quite a long time. You can find things for your kitchen, some basic stationery for the kids, and everyday toiletries. Our shop is not very big, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves to make everything fit. It can be a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two or three people are inside at once. Amritsar is a huge city, but Sultanwind feels like its own small community. We know most of the neighbors and we have seen their families grow over the years. We are not trying to compete with the big supermarkets. We just want to make sure that the people living nearby can get their milk, bread, and other needs without traveling too far. The road outside our door is always full of cycles, rickshaws, and people walking. We open up every morning and stay here until quite late at night. It is hard work, but this is what we do. We don't have any slogans or fancy marketing stuff. Just a door that is open for anyone who needs something for their house. It’s a simple, honest life.
