Salig Ram Kishan Chand

Salig Ram Kishan Chand is located at 809 Bazar Jatkian, right near Katra Mohar Singh. This is an old part of the city, and our shop has been part of the fabric here for a long time. The streets are very narrow and always filled with the smell of spices and the sound of people bartering. Our shop isn't modern at all. We have old wooden shelves that go all the way to the ceiling and a floor where we often sit to talk to our customers. We don't have computers everywhere or any high-tech systems. We do things the old-fashioned way because that’s how we learned. It’s a very busy place, and there’s always someone coming in for something. We know most of our customers by their first names and we know their families too. It’s not just about selling things; it’s about being part of the community in the bazar. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if people are still around. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, even if the paint is peeling in some spots. We don't see any reason to change how we do things. We aren't looking to become a huge company. We just want to keep serving the people who come to Bazar Jatkian like we always have. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a very busy world.
