Daily Needs

We are located right on GT Road in Amritsar, very close to Khalsa College. Being on such a busy road means there is always traffic and noise outside our door. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. Most of our customers are students from the college or people living in the houses nearby. We sell all sorts of everyday things that people might run out of at home. It’s a typical corner store setup with shelves packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find things, but we usually know where everything is tucked away. We open up early in the morning because that’s when people need their milk and bread. The 143001 area is always active, so there’s rarely a quiet moment during the day. We don’t have any fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a practical shop where you can grab what you need and go. Sometimes people stay for a minute to chat about the weather or the traffic on GT Road. We try to keep the stock fresh and the prices fair. It’s just a few of us running the place, so we do everything from unloading the delivery trucks to cleaning the floors at night. It’s a lot of work keeping a small shop like this going, but we like being part of the neighborhood. If you’re walking past Khalsa College, you’ll see our sign right there on the main road.
