T Nine Unisex Salon

T Nine Unisex Salon is situated on the first floor at 419 L on Rainbow Road in Amritsar. We are inside Sokhal Tower, which is quite easy to find since it is near the KFC restaurant. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up some stairs, but it gives us a nice view of the road below. Since it is a unisex place, we see men, women, and kids coming in all day long. The atmosphere is usually a bit lively with the sound of blow dryers and people chatting about their day. We have several mirrors lined up along the walls and the lighting is kept pretty bright so we can see everything clearly. It is not a massive space, but we have organized it so that everyone has enough room to feel comfortable while they wait. The smell of different shampoos and soaps is always in the air. We keep a stack of magazines near the seating area, though most people just look at their phones these days. Outside, Rainbow Road is always humming with activity. Sometimes the delivery bikes for the nearby restaurants make a lot of noise, but we are used to it by now. We just focus on the scissors and the hair. It is a lot of standing on our feet, but that is the nature of the work. We keep the shop open late most nights to accommodate the people coming from work.
