Swami Stores

The shop is near Katra Kanhian, and the official number is 48. If you know the Chowk Amrit Cinema in Amritsar, we are right around there. It is a busy part of the 143001 area. Most days, we just open up and wait for whoever is passing by the cinema. It isn't a fancy place or anything. The shelves are mostly full of things people need on a daily basis. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud because of the cinema crowds and the rickshaws, but you get used to it after a while. I spend a lot of time just rearranging things so they fit in the small space we have. People usually stop in because we are right on their way home. It is just Swami Stores, nothing more. We have been at this address for a good long time now. The street can be a bit messy when it rains, but the customers still come through. It is funny how you recognize people just by what they buy every week. We do not really do much advertising or anything like that, just stay open and talk to the regulars. The location near Amrit Cinema makes it easy for folks to explain where they are going. We just keep things running as best as we can without overcomplicating the whole business. It is just a regular shop in a busy part of town, dealing with the usual daily grind of selling goods.
