Super Cuts Hair & Beauty Salon

The shop is located at Chowk Shakti Nagar in Amritsar. It’s a lively spot with a lot of people moving around throughout the day. Super Cuts has been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. We do hair and beauty stuff for anyone who stops by. It’s a basic setup with some mirrors and the usual tools of the trade. I usually get here early to set things up before the first customer arrives. The floor always needs a good sweep from the day before. Shakti Nagar is the kind of place where everyone seems to know everyone else’s business. We hear a lot of stories sitting in these chairs. Some people come in for a haircut and end up staying an extra half hour just to talk. We don’t mind it much as long as it isn’t too busy. The chairs have some wear and tear on the arms, but they still work fine. We have a small sink for washing hair, and sometimes the water takes a minute to get warm. Amritsar winters can be quite chilly, so we keep the door shut tight then. In the summer, it’s the opposite and we leave it wide open. We just try to keep a steady rhythm and get through the day's work. It’s not a complicated business, just a place for people to get their hair sorted out without any fuss.
